Singer-Songwriter Compared to Gordon Lightfoot and James Taylor to Perform Thursday, September 2, at the Davis Theatre
Marty DeJarnette will open the new Footlights series at the theatre in Cabarrus County’s historic courthouse with a concert celebrating the release of his second CD, Far Away From Here. DeJarnette has performed throughout North Carolina and the San Francisco Bay area for more than 25 years. He has done preshows for Phil Collins, Crosby, Stills and Nash and the Charlotte Symphony. Tickets are $10.
Tickets on Sale Thursday for Davis Theatre’s Three Performing Arts Series
Tickets go on sale Thursday for all three of the Davis Theatre’s 2010-11 performing arts series. Located in Cabarrus County’s historic courthouse at 65 Union Street S, Concord, the Davis provides an intimate setting for performing arts with just 227 seats and state-of-the-art sound and lights.
