SUMMARY:CAG Demo: Wood Burning Designs
DESCRIPTION:The demonstration I will be providing is a wood burning technique on a 3-dimensional sculpture\, using mixed media (i.e.\, wood\, glue\, paint).The sculpture will already be prepared on its base using glue\, and the demonstration itself will focus on the wood burning techniques used to finish the piece. After this demonstration\, you should have the basic skills to get started burning designs too! No need to register. This event is free and open to the public.  Please arrive before 2:00 PM so as not to interrupt the instructor. There will be appliqué with hand embroidery finishes and 3-D stitches to create textures for each page of your fabric book. Stamping on fabric for a design which will be stitched and highlighted using Crayons! The First class will focus on the Mermaid Tail cover page.
