DESCRIPTION:Get ready to create a stunning quilted wallhanging inspired by the Goddess of Truth in this fun\, hands-on workshop! \n\n\n\nCreate a stunning quilted wallhanging to add to your home decor! In this workshop you will learn Seminole piecing\, quilt binding and sashing\, and hand-work embellishments to make your wallhanging uniquely yours. \nAll supplies are included (plus tea\, water\, and snacks). A limited number of classroom sewing machines are available; you are welcome to bring your own. This workshop is for all sewing levels\, although some familiarity with sewing is helpful. \nThere are three workshop sessions offered: Friday\, August 21\, 10am-2pm; Friday\, August 21\, 5pm-9pm; Sunday\, August 23\, 2pm-6pm. Drawing on a wide array of influences\, DRC’s music reflects the passions of its members: elements of traditional bluegrass\, old-time folk\, and classic country can be heard alongside flavors of Americana\, rock\, and modern pop. \n​The full band’s debut EP “Off the Shelf” was released in the Fall of 2023 and in 2024\, DownRiver Collective was named IBMA’s Momentum Band of the Year.
