About the Artist
In my work, I explore the contained space created by man-made structures, particularly the more uncelebrated places. I am inspired by the interplay of interior and exterior space, under a bridge for example, and the way light fills and frames that experience. I work primarily in oils, but have been switching back and forth between painting and drawing recently - the different mediums tend to inform one another.
