Art on the Go: Learn to Make Cyanotypes
June 9 @ 6:00 pm
Free
In partnership with the Cabarrus County Libraries, the Cabarrus Arts Council will provide 12 art sessions across 6 library branches as part of our Art on the Go initiative for Adults in the Summer of 2025.
What is a Cyanotype? Cyanotypes are one of the earliest photographic processes in the history of photography. Using the sun or UV light as our main printing source, participants are in for a fun-filled one-hour session using the cyanotype process to create a series of artistic prints using readily available materials. Attendees will select from a range of materials such as found objects, feathers, and plants to create interesting compositions. No experience is necessary. All materials included.
Art on the Go is sponsored by Duke Energy and Pinnacle Financial Partners.
