Art on the Go: Learn to Make Cyanotypes (Kids)
April 6, 2026 @ 4:30 pm
Free

In partnership with the Cabarrus County Libraries, the Cabarrus Arts Council will provide art sessions across 6 library branches as part of our Art on the Go initiative for adults and children in the Summer of 2026. What is a Cyanotype? Cyanotypes are one of the earliest photographic processes in the history of photography. Using the sun or UV light as our main printing source, participants are in for a fun-filled one-hour session using the cyanotype process to create a series of artistic prints using readily available materials. Children will select from a range of materials such as found objects, feathers, and plants to create interesting compositions. No experience is necessary. All materials included.
