Cultural Groups

Energizing our community through arts excellence includes supporting cultural arts groups, artists, and programs.

Grants, community art walks, gallery exhibitions, school programs, and a thriving theatre season are a few ways the Cabarrus Arts Council nourishes its community.

The arts create a sense of place and an identity for communities. It encompasses various mediums of expression and has the power to reach down and touch us deep inside. We are constantly striving to make arts accessible to all members within the community, so that singing, dancing, writing, acting, drawing, painting…can inspire, comfort and excite both the creator and the audience.

Communities with active cultural arts programs take tremendous pride in their neighborhood and are pleased to invite guests to visit and participate. The arts open minds and lead the way to constructive communication and innovation. The arts also benefit the county by attracting audience members who shop, eat and enjoy its various accommodations.

By supporting arts groups and providing visual and performing arts programs, the Cabarrus Arts Council serves our community in a fundamental way that benefits all!

All non-profit arts organizations in Cabarrus County have the opportunity to apply for annual funding from the Cabarrus Arts Council.
