Spring Blooms: A Colored Pencil Workshop

In this workshop, Lisa will guide you step-by-step in building color, light, and texture to capture the soft beauty of a spring floral in pinks, creams, and greens. A prepared line drawing will be provided, allowing you to focus on color and technique without worrying about drawing accuracy. Bring the colored pencils you already own, and learn how much they can do in the right hands.

Lisa Albinus is a professional illustrator, botanical artist and art educator with over 20 years of experience in both traditional and digital mediums. She teaches at the Cain Center for the Arts, Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC), and across multiple platforms and institutions.

Lisa is currently studying with the Society of Botanical Artists in London, with graduation expected in 2028. She brings her passion for detail and her love of natural beauty into every class she teaches—creating an encouraging environment for all skill levels.
