Often, the hardest parts are starting and staying Consistent.

We often dream of doing big things, but it’s easy to get overwhelmed.

The truth is, you don’t have to take on something huge to see meaningful change.

Small, steady effort creates movement. Always.

Last year, CHD:WCK! committed to a simple practice: a few small works each day, for 100 days.

With a few loose parameters and a lot of curiosity, he showed up daily — trusting that one small thing, done consistently, could turn into something much bigger.

Opening Reception: Saturday, August 23rd | 4 – 6 pm

Curator Talk: Thursday, September 4th | 10 – 11 am

Artist Talk: Thursday, September 25th | 6:30 7:30 pm

Tiny Cuts, Big Magic: A Collage Workshop with CHD:WCK!

September 18th | 6 – 8:30 pm

The 100 Day Project Exhibition was born from one simple thing: showing up consistently to a creative practice.

In this workshop, you’ll explore fun, low-pressure ways to build that kind of consistency into your own creative life — whether you think you don’t have a creative bone in your body, or you’re just looking to rest your weary creative bones.

No experience necessary. Just bring an open mind and a desire to enjoy yourself.

CHD:WCK! is a non-traditionally trained (self-taught) Visual Artist, whose aesthetic tastes were shaped in and around Essex County, New Jersey. His work is fueled by an enduring fascination with raw texture, strong lines, soft curves, and a desire to celebrate the overlooked beauty in the ordinary. This leads to a unique approach to creating artwork that is equally challenging, enticing, and refreshing. CHD:WCK! has worked on murals for the City of Charlotte, Lowe’s Home Improvement, and several art institutions. His work has been on display at museums and galleries where he resides in Charlotte, NC and other cities along the East Coast. CHD:WCK! also works as a teaching artist.
