Charlotte Marcellus

Director of Marketing

From dress-up bins to cardboard boxes, Charlotte has always seen the potential for creative expression in people and objects since she was old enough to hold a crayon. Her brother will still recount stories of how she begged and bribed him to perform and sing with her at every family holiday and on every outdoor stage that she encountered. It still amazes her that their mom allowed roller skates to make the occasional appearance on the living room hardwood floor. It was those early experiences that guided toward serving in arts administration.
With a Bachelor of Arts in Arts Management and a minor in Non-Profit Organizations from Appalachian State University, Charlotte has developed a well-rounded expertise in strategic marketing and community engagement. She previously served as the Director of Marketing at The Arts Council of Greater Greensboro and is a Certified Digital Marketing Professional through the Digital Marketing Institute/AMA. She also holds leadership certificates from PMA Nonprofit Leadership and the Center for Creative Leadership.
In her free time, you can find Charlotte exploring local trails, writing songs, or lost within the latest book off of her reading list.
