You are invited to join us as Kelsey Basset shares how she creates her angles and how you can apply these ideas for painting other subjects. Kelsey is a former Cabarrus County Schools art teacher who left the classroom to pursue motherhood and painting full-time. From South Charlotte, she earned a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture from NCSU, then went back to school to become an elementary teacher to ultimately earn a master's degree and become licensed to teach art. She loves painting and is loving that she can now have time in to paint and share her artwork with others. From Kelsey: “During the demo, I plan to talk about building layers on a canvas or paper to create an angel. I'll demonstrate the steps I take to achieve a detailed design that could also be applied to any still life or portrait.
