The Galleries organize Art Walks in downtown Concord in conjunction with each exhibition. Galleries and shops display visual art and host artists' demonstrations. Live music, refreshments and artists make these downtown evenings fun for all ages.
Stroll through The Galleries and be sure to enjoy the artwork all throughout our beautiful downtown here in Concord. Our Art Walks always take place on Fridays from 6:00-9:00 pm.

This initial dive into photography will teach how to understand light, see details, color, form, pattern, and utilize compositional and technical elements to create more intriguing and successful photographs. You will learn aperture, shutter speed, ISO, the creative purposes of focal lengths, and how to photograph in Aperture Priority, Shutter Speed Priority and Manual Mode.
Supplies: Bring your DSLR or mirrorless camera, fully charged with a memory card free of space

The Cabarrus Arts Council’s Family Days feature fun and creative activities for children in The Galleries and Davis Theatre and opportunities for anyone to visit The Galleries on a weekend. Each Family Day will be different and may include creative art projects in The Galleries, a performance or movie in the Davis Theatre and even activities on the front lawn of the Cabarrus County Historic Courthouse.
People may visit any time between 1 pm and 4 pm. Family Days are free! Children must be accompanied by an adult.
