Learn to use needle felting wool fiber to “paint” a picture.  We will be starting with a pre-felt base (sheet of partially felted wool) that has a transfer of the simple photo of a peaceful sleeping cat. Then, using our fibers and needles we will recreate our picture in fiber (and of course use our creative license!). We will be learning to blend fibers to get our results. Students only need to bring a sense of humor and their imagination! Irene has won many awards for her work across the country. She has produced an instructional DVD and is currently working on a needle felting book.
