Enjoy visual art and entertainment at the Downtown Concord Art Walk on Friday, August 11 from 6-9pm! This free event features live music, refreshments, artist demonstrations and many more activities throughout downtown Concord.

The Art Walk will also serve as the opening reception for the Cabarrus Arts Council's newest exhibition Ten. This exhibition celebrates The Galleries ten year anniversary and will feature new works by a select number of artists who have previously exhibited at The Galleries. The exhibition will be open at The Galleries from August 3 - October 20.

Commitment to the Arts

The Cabarrus Arts Council is dedicated to providing a wide variety of cultural arts programs that celebrate the rich diversity of our county and our world. The arts council programs and operates the Davis Theatre and The Galleries, conducts one of North Carolina's largest arts-in-education programs for both the Cabarrus County and Kannapolis City school systems, supports arts organizations and artists through grants and workshops, and serves as a catalyst and consultant for public and corporate art.
