Art Lab at the Cabarrus Arts Council
Join us for Art Lab as we explore the new exhibition, Roots/Raices. Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, students will have the opportunity to see paintings, prints, and masks. From there students will participate in an I Spy activity then head to the classroom and create a pinata photo frame, drawing inspiration from the colorful paintings on display. Art Lab takes students ages 6 - 12 on a guided tour through the current exhibition in The Galleries before heading into the lab to explore the artistic processes and subjects they viewed. Pre-registration and adult supervision are required. Participants will have the opportunity to experience the newest exhibition through several activities, I Spy. Gallery Tour and an art activity based on the exhibition in the Galleries. Art Labs are limited to 15 students. Refunds will not be given for missed classes. The Cabarrus Arts Council has the right to cancel the class due to low enrollment. Minimum of 6 students to run the class.
