Kannapolis Jazz Concert Series: Brad Bailey
Brad Bailey performs jazz standards such as “What A Wonderful World,” “Sway,” “Georgia,” “Unforgettable,” and “Route 66” in a rhythmic style that creates the sound and energy of a full band—but at a quarter of the price!
Featured in Charlotte Style Magazine (Spring ’12) and Bass Player Magazine (May ’12), Brad Bailey is the world premiere 8-string banjo player: combining smooth vocals with bass, banjo, and percussive grooves all live on one instrument. But this isn’t hillbilly music—Brad’s style is always sophisticated, professional, and the perfect compliment to any classy event.
Brad has performed hundreds of concerts for Corporate Events, Weddings, Government Dignitaries, Festivals, Universities, Night Clubs, Private Parties, and in Charlotte, NC’s high-end restaurants such as Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Crave, Dressler’s, and The Palm.
Need wedding music? If your wedding theme is “Ritzy Ranch,” “20s Glitzy Glam,” or “Hipster Chic” you will not find a better fit than banjo jazz! Brad can also add his signature classy banjo style to traditional Classical wedding selections such as “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring,” “Canon in D,” “The Wedding March,” and the “Trumpet Voluntary.”
Brad uses only top-notch sound gear and takes up a much smaller footprint that any duo or band. Of course, Brad can provide additional instrumentalists tailored to meet your specific needs (sax, trumpet, drums, etc). But audiences and vendors frequently comment on how full Brad sounds all by himself as he provides vocals, rhythm, lead, and a beat in a solo package. If you are looking for a world-class performer but have a limited budget, get more music for less money with Brad Bailey, 8-string banjo Jazz, Blues, and Classical.
